# BeyondFolder

> Software products, free tools and writing by Rares Serban, a senior software engineer and solopreneur in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

BeyondFolder is the umbrella for the products Rares Serban builds and sells on his own, plus free tools for founders and notes on distribution. Bootstrapped, no funding. Rares has 10+ years of production experience (PHP, then Rust and blockchain, then AI products), was a tech lead for 3+ years, works as a Senior Software Engineer at RWS on Papercup (AI dubbing), and takes one role at a time next to his own products as a fractional CTO, tech lead or founding engineer for early-stage products.
